The local boy produced the greatest knock by an Indian in IPL history — 141 off just 55 balls (15 fours, 10 sixes), striking at 256.36. Alongside Travis Head (66 off 41), he added 207 in 15.3 overs — the fastest 200-run opening stand ever. SRH chased 246 in only 18.3 overs, winning by 8 wickets with 9 balls spare. Match aggregate: 492 runs — second-highest in IPL history.
